It’s all in the details! Introducing the Urban Wood Project: Minneapolis, “Orlin Collection” by Room & Board featuring Wood From the Hood’s reclaimed Ash – available online and in all 20 of Room & Board’s stores across the U.S.

These beautiful Orlin tables are made from reclaimed Ash trees that have fallen due to Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). For those curious minds out there “Orlin” is the street that forms the southwest border of the water tower green space in Prospect Park in Minneapolis where Emerald Ash Borer was first discovered in Minnesota.

Wood from the Hood is dedicated to coming up with ways to put the ash trees to good use: communal tables, cribbage boards, growth charts, decking and thermally modified lumber, our ideas continue to be endless. We are proud our business has expanded to supplying Ash lumber to furniture retailers like Room & Board who support the urban lumber movement!
