Residential Interior – Black Walnut Center Island & River Bar Top

Tucked away in the Colorado Mountains in a beautiful home are a couple prize pieces made from their neighborhood back home. We supplied a fair amount of reclaimed lumber for this project but the Kitchen Island and Bar Top are the favorite.

Made from Live Edge Black Walnut Slabs reclaimed in the Minneapolis area. Our teams craftmanship is outstanding! The work on mitered corners with bow-ties, beautiful book matching and wonderful clear finish are outstanding. They worked with the owner adding some precious stones to fill some of the natural characters created by the wood. The natural lines made by the EAB beetle seem to represent the Breckenridge ski slopes.

One certainly can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail here!
