Since 2008, Wood From the Hood has been dedicated to the sustainable practice of removing urban trees from the waste stream and turning them into unique home goods and custom furniture. Now, we are thrilled to introduce Evergreen by Wood From the Hood – Where sustainability meets affordability, an exclusive furniture line that takes this practice of sustainability and creativity even further. This collection was designed with clean, minimal lines with the intention of drawing focus to the beauty of the urban wood used in each handmade piece. Meticulously handcrafted by our team of furniture builders, each piece in our collection removes an average of 220 LBs of CO2e from the atmosphere and 250 LBs of discarded lumber from the waste stream.
Our collection is contemporary yet versatile, offering three finish options to fit any style. The Kenwood Collection features exposed wood joinery, which showcases the meticulous craftsmanship of each piece. The Longfellow Collection has more transitional lines, with 2 leg style chooses for an even more customized look. The Crosby Collection is a handcrafted blend of modern aesthetics and the timeless principles of Bauhaus design. The Riverside (on website soon – inquire if interested) is a traditional live edge table that brings the beauty of nature into any home. Perfect for family meals and friend gatherings.
