In the Ring for Spring; Preserved Box Elder Slabs Go the Rounds
Spring has sprung and Wood from the Hood gets the jump on those box elder bugs! They may be pesty but they don’t win the day as the beauty of this tree, reclaimed last fall, is preserved forever as seen on the amazing wood grain on the inside. With the spalting adding creative character, this piece has a “never say die” tale to tell! If that resonates with you, we can set you up! The width varies 36″ on the narrow end to 60” on the wide end. They are 109″ long, rough sawn at 3″ thick. The slabs are scheduled to be kiln dry the end of 2014. Contact us for details.
