Oktoberfest continues—at home with friends!
It’s a beautiful Autumn afternoon and you’re in your back yard, reveling in the gorgeous leaf colors and sweet smells of fall. As energies begin to draw in for the season, enjoy the bounty of local flavors on your tongue, too.
Let the tactile presence of our new Flight Paddles add to the sensations on display. Let them inspire you to sample your local brews. Let your conversation with friends paint a picture of sustainability—from enjoying the abundance of the Twin Cities’ micro-brewery scene to satisfying the call to reclaim the plenty of our urban forest.
If you know Wood From the Hood, you know our business model answers that call. The first run of our newest product came from (light-toned) Ash & (medium-toned) Oak trees. We are flush with Ash as a great many of these trees are coming down to prevent the spread of Emerald Ash Borer. We also chose an Oak tree that was donated by a home owner in the 55409 zip code of South Minneapolis.
Purchase a flight paddle online now at our online store or, if you’re a Minneapolis native and would like to hold one in your hand, visit “i like you,” a favorite Northeast retailer or The Wedge in South Minneapolis.
While you’re out and about, continuing your own versions of Oktoberfest, check out some of the local establishments that have asked us to design their very own Flight Paddles: Summit Brewing Company, Dangerous Man Brewing Company, Republic, Pizza Lucé, Surdyk’s Wine Bar (at the airport), Houlihan’s Restaurant and Bar, and (soon) The Commodore.
Happy Fall, and Happy Tasting!
