Residential – Live Edge Table, Plank-Style Benches, Storage Chest

The Sandos saved their distressed tree from the landfill and now enjoy meals around a beautiful 30″x 60″ Black Walnut table fashioned from a pair of book matched slabs with a clear finish. They chose sleekly styled slab legs for their residential interior. Distinct and unique sap wood, normally tossed aside in commercial milling, creates an elegant white edge that frames this custom piece making it truly a conversation starter! They also made benches and a few other custom pieces like the keepsake boxes. The remaining lumber was donated to Wood from the Hood and pieces are being enjoyed around the city.
