Serve Rick Siewert’s Fresh Pesto Recipe
1 cup fresh, grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup lightly packed Lemon Basil
1 cup lightly packed Basil
1 cup whole, unsalted Almonds
¾ cup Olive Oil
4 cloves Garlic
2 teaspoons Salt
Grind all ingredients in the food processor for 1-2 minutes or until desired consistency is achieved. Spread pesto on a sliced baguette with slice of fresh mozzarella cheese and a slice of tomato.
Serve arranged on a Wood from the Hood Charcuterie Board!
Pair with Sparkling Water, Local Craft Beer or Wine.
