WFTH Sets the Table for Sustainability at Colita Restaurant Minneapolis
Colita of Minneapolis was looking for a unique build out to match their unique cuisine from the region of Oaxaca, Mexico. Their authentic flavor transferred over through the custom hardwood pieces Wood From the Hood built.
Colita wanted a local and authentic product and to work with a company that could solve the unique design challenges that were involved in building a u-shaped bar top. The extra-large horseshoe Silver Maple bar top was made from 37 keystone-shaped pieces of wood. The bar top itself was designed in conjunction with Marco – Colita’s cocktail manager and a highly respected mixologist in the twin cities.
Wood From the Hood also created the back Silver Maple bar top and Hackberry seating table tops – all made from reclaimed urban wood.
