Since this is a pretty expensive purchase, I’ll review a few aspects of the whole process.
Pre-purchase: Wood from the Hood has some sample furniture at the warehouse, and it’s nice to see the quality of the work beforehand. They build the furniture to order, so you’re not getting that exact item, but it’s good to get a sense of it. They are very helpful and responsive through the contact form on this site as well.
Purchasing: The site wasn’t working correctly when I tried to place the order, but again, they were very helpful getting the order in through other means.
Pre-delivery: They stayed in touch, letting me know the progress of the work, and arranging the delivery time.
Delivery: The delivery crew was great – right on time, friendly, and efficient.
The table itself: Fantastic – looks great, and feels very solid. I got the version highlighted in the images here, with the natural top and black legs.
